Using Pinterest To Get Health Education Messages Across

Pinterest is not the number one site that comes to mind when you think of health education.

But Boehringer Ingelheim has begun using it to dramatic effect to highlight the dangers of an irregular heartbeat or atrial fibrillation in doctor speak.

Atrial fibrillation can cause strokes and we all know how life-threatening and debilitating strokes can be.

If you believe that pictures paint a thousand words, you may want to take a look at the BI Pinterest page http://pinterest.com/biglobal/af-and-stroke-visualized/ .

It's eye-catching, dramatic and it gets the message across in a powerful way. Well done BI!

Create An Infographic

We are the "done-it-all, seen-it-all generation" so we are well used to people not being easily impressed.

To stand out in a crowded business environment, you need a few tricks up your sleeve such as record sales and record profits.

A much easier way to impress is to create an infographic about your business.

We have been using infographics for ages to raise the profile of our clients and our various business boutiques.

Recipients love them because bold infographics make complicated data and information easy to understand.

They enable everyone to grasp the headlines in a few seconds and they enable brands to stand out on the search engines.

We recently turned a 50 page credentials document into an eye-catching infographic…making it the shortest elevator pitch I've ever seen.

Check it out here.

You will find more examples of infographics on the Only Web blog.

If you need any help creating infographics - we are the people to speak to!
