Beattie Communications Wins Huggies

17 January 2011

I'm delighted to report that Beattie Communications has been appointed as Huggies new PR agency following a competitive six-way pitch.

We will start work on the UK's number two nappy brand in February.

The account will be managed from our London office with support from our network of regional offices.

Part of the global Kimberly-Clark group, the Huggies brand was launched in the UK in 1996 and currently sells nearly 50 million packs of nappies, nappy pants, pants and wipes in the UK each year.

Amanda Redman, UK Marketing Director for Personal Care at Kimberley Clark, said: 'We are very excited about working with Beattie across the range of Huggies baby products. We have been particularly impressed with their integrated approach to on and off-line campaigns, and their overall digital marketing capability.'

Kimberly-Clark and its well-known global brands are an indispensable part of life for people in more than 150 countries. Every day, 1.3 billion people - nearly a quarter of the world's population - trust K-C brands and the solutions they provide to enhance their health, hygiene and well-being. With brands such as Kleenex, Andrex, Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex and Depend, Kimberly-Clark holds the No. 1 or No. 2 share position in more than 80 countries.
